Nationally known speaker Pamela Heim from Colorado Springs will be the speaker at a Ladies Retreat to be held from 7-9 p.m. Friday, May 8, and from 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 9, at Mountain View Church next to Beau Jo’s at Buffalo Valley Restaurant. All area women are invited to attend.

Heim will be presenting “Becoming God’s Confident Woman.” Experiencing spiritual growth, personal wholeness, healthy relationships, and effective service requires confidence.

The Unitarian Universalist congregation of Glenwood Springs will hold a midvalley meeting in Basalt on June 7 featuring Unitarian Universalist minister Robert Latham.
