Rifle woman killed in I-70 rollover identified

Authorities have identified Barbara Snider, 60, of Rifle, as the woman who died of injuries sustained in a rollover in snowy conditions Tuesday morning on Interstate 70.

According to the Colorado State Patrol, Snider appeared to have lost control of her eastbound Ford Ranger near mile marker 92 just east of Rifle, spun and run off the road, across the median and into the westbound lanes, rolling at least twice in the process.

She was taken to Grand River Hospital, where efforts to save her were unsuccessful.
