Rotary Reward Winners announced

From Feb. 21 to April 11, giving money to the Glenwood Springs Rotary Club came with an extra perk. Rotary celebrated its 50th anniversary by raffling off gift certificates to Glenwood Springs restaurants of varying values, totaling more than $2,500.

Winners of the prizes were: $500, PJ Jaycox; $400, Barb Thompson; $300, Tanya Moser and Karen Eden; $200, Dick Hunt and John Stelzriede; $100, Dot Walker, Glenn Jammeron, Dave Pearson, Sue Kuhn, Bill Sanderson and John Stroud.

Organizers called the raffle an “economic stimulus promoting Glenwood Springs restaurants and donations to the club.”

Glenwood Springs Rotary funds college scholarships, incoming and outgoing international exchange students and donates to a variety of nonprofit organizations including Columbine Home Health, YouthZone Restorative Justice, Literacy Outreach, Feed My Sheep, Advocate Safehouse and the Salvation Army.
