Ski with Sunlight’s Volunteer Ski Patrol
Anyone interested in becoming a volunteer ski patroller at Sunlight Mountain Resort can meet and ski with the Sunlight Volunteer Ski Patrol from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, April 4 or Sunday, April 5.
Pick the day that works best. Meet at the first aid clinic next to the lodge in the morning.
A liability release waiver must be signed before getting started. Lift tickets will be provided for participants who don’t have a Sunlight Mountain pass.
Those who participate will meet some of the Sunlight ski patrollers in the morning, who will discuss the qualifications, duties and responsibilities of the job.
There will be plenty of time to get out on the mountain with the volunteers. The day will include an evaluation of participants’ skiing skills. Intermediate or higher skiing ability is required. Bring a bag lunch or grab something at the lodge.
