Stone Kitchen to play at NC market

The first week of the New Castle Community Market’s 2017 season was a great success. Traffic was great, and the weather was awesome. Everyone enjoyed the music in the park.

This week’s music is provided by Stone Kitchen, who is new to us. Three of our newest vendors are Crystal Tuning, offering crystals, rocks, jewelry and gift items; Hydroponics Organic Garden Supply, with amazing tomatoes, jalapenos and other plants, as well as supplies to help your garden grow; and Mac’s Snack Shack, offering his delicious kettle corn — we certainly enjoyed it in the Market booth and passed it around the park so everyone had a taste.

Burning Mountain Park is a nice place to spend a Thursday evening enjoying the music and having a bite to eat. Maybe you’ll find a treasure for yourself, too. The market runs from 4:30-7:30 p.m. Thursdays through Sept. 21 in Burning Mountain Park in the heart of New Castle.
