The GJ Downtown Partnership hosts a new logo contest

About the Grand Junction Downtown Partnership

The mission of the Grand Junction Downtown Partnership is the creation of a thriving downtown, founded on the economic vitality of the central business district and a strong sense of community identity. The Partnership is a collaboration among the Downtown Development Authority (DDA), Downtown Business Improvement District (BID), and the Downtown Association (DTA), who combine their resources for capital improvement projects, redevelopment activity, and the marketing and promotion of the downtown district.

Downtown Grand Junction is looking for modern ideas, graphics wizardry, and a fresh look at what Downtown Grand Junction means to our community!

It’s asking for artists and designers of all types in the Grand Valley community to submit a logo that represents both the what and the where of Downtown Grand Junction. The Downtown Partnership is looking for a modern and creative design that reflects the unique nature of the downtown area, while also including a sense of place and acknowledging the downtown’s unique location near the Colorado River, the Colorado National Monument, the Grand Mesa, the Bookcliffs, wine country, orchard country… the list goes on and on, so be creative!

The grand-prize winner of the Downtown Grand Junction Logo Contest will receive a $250 in cash or Downtown Grand Junction gift certificates. Plus, the winner will receive recognition in press releases and on the Downtown Grand Junction website and social media sites.

To read the rules, regulations and submission guidelines, visit http://bit.ly/174bchi.

All submissions must be received by midnight Aug. 5. Submissions will then be posted on the Downtown Grand Junction Facebook page. Winners will be selected by Downtown Grand Junction staff and Business Improvement District board members.
