Three judge nominees named
Three nominees have been named for a judicial vacancy in the 9th Judicial District created by the retirement of Judge Daniel Petre.
The 9th Judicial District Nominating Commission nominated Anne Norrdin, the current assistant district attorney; Tari Williams, the Garfield County attorney; and Scott Turner, a former deputy district attorney in the 9th Judicial District who went to work for the Colorado attorney general’s office last year.
The 9th Judicial District covers Garfield, Pitkin and Rio Blanco counties.
Gov. John Hickenlooper now has 15 days to appoint one of these nominees.
