Travel advisory for Glenwood’s 27th Street Bridge moved to Thursday
Planned construction activity affecting Glenwood Springs’ 27th Street Bridge was postponed Wednesday due to weather, and will now take place Thursday.
Alternating one-lane closures will take place between 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., and ongoing bridge lane closures are to be in place during off-peak hours, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
There will also be intermittent holds on South Grand Avenue and Atkinson Trail will remain in effect, according to city officials.
Motorists should plan ahead for delays and allow extra time when traveling through the area, especially during peak times.
Business access will remain open and motorists utilizing the area must follow flagger instructions and construction signage, the release also advised.
