Veterans honored with reduced tuition at Colorado Mountain College

Active-duty military, veterans and their spouses and dependents now receive Colorado Mountain College’s low in-district tuition — no matter where they live. The college offers the discounted rate as a show of gratitude for military service and sacrifice.

In-district tuition rates run $56-$95 per credit hour, depending on the level of courses taken. The college has a network of small campuses across north-central Colorado, and many classes are available online, making it easier for working students to earn an occupational certificate or take classes toward an associate or bachelor’s degree, without sacrificing needed income.

Veterans or active-duty military can visit CMC’s veteran admissions website at: In addition to spelling out admissions requirements for prospective students, the site offers information on potential VA benefits, including those resulting from the Post 9/11 GI Bill.

The spring semester at Colorado Mountain College begins the week of Jan. 13, but some classes start later. To find out more, visit or call 1-800-621-8559.
