Three cars â a 1966 Ford Mustang, 1957 Chevrolet Nomad and 1961 Chrysler 300G â stopped Thursday at Glenwood Springs Ford on their nearly 3,000-mile journey to their birthplace in Detroit. The vehicles are now part of the collection at the LeMay â Americaâs Car Museum, in Tacoma, Washington. They are going to Detroit for the North American International Auto Show in mid-January. The cars will be welcomed back to the Motor City on Jan. 8 with a drive down Woodward Avenue, the nation's first paved road, and a celebratory party in Detroitâs Cadillac Square, the former headquarters of General Motors.
