West Midland traffic restrictions tonight

Midland Avenue traffic will be limited to an alternating one-lane configuration between Devereux Road and the Exit 114 underpass at 8 p.m. tonight, with a full nighttime closure starting at midnight due to construction work at the underpass.

The road will reopen at 4 a.m. Friday. Emergency vehicles will still be permitted to pass, and Exit 114 will remain open, according to Colorado Department of Transportation Grand Avenue bridge project officials.

The closure is necessary for a maintenance project at the railroad underpass and the I-70 underpass.
