Wulfsohn Trail work sessions on Thursday evenings

Roaring Fork Outdoor Volunteers need your help to build another 2/3 mile of singletrack between the main Wulfsohn Trail and the Upper Loop Trail in Glenwood Springs to increase the number of trail options available. The group will also be doing some work to improve the existing trail and mitigate erosion issues near the community garden.

Volunteers are needed on Thursdays — May 8, 15, 22 and 29 — from 4 p.m. until dusk at Wulfsohn Open Space.

Arrive any time after 4 p.m. and register at the table above the Glenwood Springs Community Center. Work will continue until dusk, after which dinner and beverages will be provided for volunteers. Volunteers should bring water, gloves, and some friends, but please leave all pets at home.

Preregistration isn’t required for these evening projects, but it is encouraged. Sign up at http://www.RFOV.org and click on the Volunteer Sign-Up link. Then fill out the form and click submit. For questions call 970-927-8241.
