Lois Blackburn

Lois Mae Blackburn, 72, of Parachute, passed away Jan. 24, 2009. She was born March 10, 1936.Lois will be missed and will remain in the hearts of her family and friends. She was an inspiration to all who knew her.Survivors include her husband, Montana Blackburn; children Janet (RK) Spencer, Michael (Misun) Blackburn and Steven Blackburn; grandchildren Jake, Aubrey, Amber, Austin, Hanna and Logan; sister Joanne (Ron) Felthoven; and numerous other family members and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Colorado State Veterans Nursing Home, Resident Benefit Fund, P.O. Box 1420, 851 E. Fifth St., Rifle, CO 81650, where her husband has received quality care for the past two years. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, at Horan & McConaty, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd. in Denver.
