Lois Irene Bruce

Lois Irene Bruce of Glenwood Springs died Wednesday, March 19, 2003. She was 101.

She was born Nov. 15, 1901, in Perry, Kan.

She married Vernon Bruce. He preceded her in death.



Mrs. Bruce was a lifelong resident of the Glenwood Springs area.

She is survived by a stepdaughter, Verline B. White; by step-granddaughters Deirdre Jones and Katharine Frey; by a step-grandson, Donald White Jr.; by a niece, Lois Haberberger; by a nephew and niece-in-law, Elmer and Dodie Roberts; by a step-niece, Lois Rohan; and by great nieces Nancy J. Killam and Janis M. Meyers.



A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 3, at Highland Cemetery in New Castle, with the Rev. Robert Sewell officiating.

Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery.

Farnum Holt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
