Lora Wilson Hill

Lora Wilson Hill of Arvada, a former resident of Glenwood Springs, died Sunday, Dec. 14, 2003.

She was 81.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 18, at Aspen Mortuaries, 6370 Union St. in Arvada.



A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 19, also at Aspen Mortuaries. Burial will follow at Fort Logan National Cemetery.

Mrs. Hill was born April 15, 1922.



She married Jack Hill. He preceded her in death.

She was the owner of Fashion Fabric in Alamosa.

The Hills lived in Glenwood Springs while their children were growing up. They were members of the American Legion and the Chamber of Commerce.

Mrs. Hill was also a member of Daughters of the American Revolution and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Ray Branson of Arvada; by a son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Mary Ann Hill of Arvada; by a sister, Velma Tiernen of Alamosa; and by granddaughters Nikela and Dayna Hill of Arvada.
