Louis Robert O’Leary, 49, of Glenwood Springs, passed away Oct. 16, 2007, in Glenwood. Louis was born Dec. 13, 1957, in Mukiteo, Wis., to Arthur and Barbara (Gronburg) O’Leary. He married Linda Spaller Nov. 2, 1985, in Fallbrook, Calif.”Big Lou” to his friends, “Louie” to his family, he was loved by all who knew him. An avid bowler for most of his life, the only mark he ever left on the valley was a perfect game at El Jebowl, leaving him the nickname “Mr. 300.” That’s the way he wanted it. He was a simple man with a simple life. His life was his family, his family his life. Louis is survived by his wife; sons Joshua James O’Leary and Robert Louis O’Leary; daughters Kathryn Lee O’Leary and Gina Marie O’Leary; brothers Richard O’Leary, Mike O’Leary and Mark O’Leary; sisters Naomi O’Leary and Grace O’Leary; and good friends Mike, Bud, Cody, Darleen, Glenn and Paul. A memorial service will be held between 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 21, at the Ramada Inn in Glenwood Springs. For questions or information, please call Katie at 760-429-4485.
