Louise Mary McNulty

Louise McNulty died Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2002, in Powell, Wyo. She was born in 1935 to Jim and Thelma McNulty.

Her grandparents came from Ireland in the 1870s and homesteaded on Cattle Creek at the base of Cottonwood Pass. They were successful cattle ranchers.

Louise grew up in 4-H, raising prize cattle. She rode horseback to the Missouri Heights School while she was in her primary grades.

With the tragic loss of both parents at an early age, Louise left the Roaring Fork Valley she loved.

She is survived by her brother, Jim McNulty, and his wife Marta and son Kevin, all of Chile; and nephew Mark, of Denver.

All correspondence for her brother and family should be addressed to Elana McNulty, Box 1847, Glenwood Springs, CO 81602. Jim suffers from Lou Gehrig’s disease and will appreciate your sympathies.
