Man who died in rollover wreck indentified

GYPSUM ” The Colorado State Patrol has released the name of the man who died in a rollover crash south of Gypsum early Friday morning.

Justin Schuyler Bobson, 24, was ejected from a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado pickup that was headed south on Gypsum Creek Road. The pickup went off the left edge of the road and rolled 1 1/4 times, the State Patrol said.

Bobson was found dead at the scene, the State Patrol said.

James Martin Hatfield, the 36-year-old driver, had serious injuries and was taken to Valley View Hospital in Glenwood Springs. Jeremy Todd Marner, a 36-year-old passenger, was released from the crash scene with minor injuries, the State Patrol said.

The hometowns of the men, who were not wearing seat belts, were not released.

The accident was reported to have happened about 2:30 a.m. Troopers were told of the accident at 5:24 a.m., the State Patrol said.

Authorities were investigating whether alcohol and speed were involved in the crash, the State Patrol said.
