Margaret L. Railsback

Margaret (Peg) Railsback was born Jan. 13, 1922, in Denver, Colorado. She passed away at Valley View Hospital on March 2, 2006. She was 84.She was the daughter of Lester and Margaret (Smith) Lane. On July 3, 1940, she was married to Henry R. Railsback, who preceded her in death. Margaret and Henry had three sons. Prior to her retirement Margaret worked as a secretary in an insurance firm.Margaret was a big sports fan especially the Denver Nuggets and the Colorado Rockies. She was a fan of the Elmer Suds Softball team that her son Dean played on. She seldom missed her granddaughter’s soccer, volleyball or basketball fames while they were growing up. Margaret volunteered for many local organizations.Margaret’s brother, Lester Lane, preceded her in death. She is survived by her sons; Dick (Nancy), John (Mary) and Dean (Judy); brother Robert Lane; sisters Phyllis (Jim) Anderson and Elizabeth Ralph; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.Farnum-Holt Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
