Margaret Virginia Henderson passed away at 2:10 a.m. on Monday March 8, 2010 after a short bout with cancer. “Jenny” was surrounded by her family and dearest friends at the time of her death. Jenny was an accomplished musician teaching music to many local students. She was a wonderful daughter, mother, sister, and friend to all in her life making a difference in the lives of many people. Her love for her sons reflected her absolute love for life. Following studies at Peabody College in Nashville, TN, Jenny and her sister Jude traveled the world playing music and continued performing until two years ago. Jenny and Jude participated in the Frank Brown Songwriters Festival for many years and were active in the local music community.
Jenny was a tall, charismatic southern beauty. She lived in the Roaring Fork Valley with Jude in the 70’s and 80’s. She played music and entertained along side her twin in many of our local clubs and opened for some major groups playing concerts here. We will miss her.
