Margaretta “Marge” Neuroth, 86, passed away Nov. 20, 2007, in Glenwood Springs.Marge was born Dec. 18, 1920, in Watertown, S.D., to Soren and Mildred Jensen. She graduated from Watertown High School in 1939.Marge married Clifford Neuroth of Beresford, S.D. Oct. 2, 1939. They lived in western Iowa, where they raised 10 children. They retired to the Roaring Fork Valley in 1979.Marge was devoted to her children and her faith. She was a longtime member of the Catholic Daughters.Her sense of humor touched everyone she met. She was truly a sweet and kind person, always ready with a quick joke and precious smile. Her family will listen for her humming forever.Marge is survived by children Sharon Kay, Judith, Richard, Timothy, Tom, Michael, Mary Ellen and Patricia; 37 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband; and children Jean Ann and Steven.She was laid to rest Nov. 24, 2007, in a family plot in Emmett, S.D.In lieu of flowers, Marge would be pleased with a joke and an act of kindness to someone you meet.
