Maria Magdalena Skinner

Maria Skinner passed away June 5, 2006, at her son’s home in Rifle. She was born July 22, 1944, in Ciudad Madero, Tamaulipas, Mexico, to Lorenzo and Carmen (Ramirez) Skinner.Maria and her husband were missionaries in Mexico and in Colorado for years. Maria lost her husband in 2000 and still went on with her missionary work.She is survived by children Ogla, Pedro, Abigail, Mari, Berenice, Benjiman, Nohemi, Daniel and Monica Ochoa, and also Mathilda Skinner; brother Lorenzo Skinner; sisters Gladiz, Dina and Yolanda Skinner; 28 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.There will be a visitation from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at the Rifle Funeral Home.Interment will follow later in Nogales, Ariz.Arrangements have been entrusted to the Rifle Funeral Home.
