Marian Jean Clugston

Marian Jean Clugston of Rifle died Sunday, March 30, 2003. She was 67.

She was born Dec. 16, 1935, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Necita Rote and Joseph Stanley.

She served in the U.S. Air Force.

She married Joe Clugston on Dec. 23, 1985, in Rifle.

Mrs. Clugston was a homemaker, and lived in Rifle for the past 19 years.

She loved going up Rifle Creek to camp, fish and sit by the campfire.

Mrs. Clugston is survived by her husband, Joe Clugston of Rifle; by sons and daughters-in-law Dennis and Windy Nevitt, Donald Nevitt, David Nevitt Jr., and Daniel and Debbie Nevitt, all of Virginia Beach, Va.; by daughters and son-in-law Debra Huber of Grand Prairie, Texas, and Dinah and Mike Jolley of Chesapeake, Va.; by brothers and sister-in-law Frank and Toni Stanley of Parma, Ohio, and Ralph Stanley of South Portland, Maine; and by 10 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 4, at the Open Door Church on the Access Road in Rifle.

Rifle Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
