Marjorie Claire Fitzpatrick

Marjorie Claire Fitzpatrick, 86, passed away Aug. 3, 2007. She was born April 13, 1921, in Manhattan, N.Y., to Frank and Mary (Corcoran) McMahon. Marjorie married Edward Fitzpatrick Sept. 2, 1944, in Fordham, N.Y. She worked as a homemaker, and for the Nassau County Social Services, and the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles. She is survived by sons Dennis, Gregory, John and Gerard Fitzpatrick; daughters Grace Mary Fitzpatrick, Judith Cuggy and Shelia Levine; sisters Elaine Higgins and Patricia Cody; grandchildren Brennan and Daniel Cuggy, Hilary and Josh Fitzpatrick, John Paul, Katheryne, Maggie, Allison, and Erin Fitzpatrick, and Zoe and Zachary Levine. Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband; sister Elizabeth Robbins; and brothers Richard and Ted McMahon. A visitation will be held at 5 p.m. Monday, Aug. 6, at the Farnum Holt Funeral Home. Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Aug. 7, at St. Mary of the Crown Church in Carbondale. Interment will be held at Holy Rood Cemetery in Westbury, N.Y. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Roaring Fork Hospice.Farnum Holt has been entrusted with the arrangements.
