Martin the right stuff for Garfield County

Dear Editor,I know we in Garfield County are facing a large election in Garfield County and nationally. My thought is going to the issue of Garfield County Commissioner.John Martin does his homework. I know John puts in many hours researching items that are on the weekly agenda. He attends meetings not only in Denver, but also goes to Washington, D.C., Chicago, Madison, Wisc., and other cities and states to see how they do things on issues that are close to home for Garfield County.John does not let anyone intimidate him.John has the experience and he does listen. John volunteers for Kiwanis, the Fall Art Festival, and the Strawberry Days Rodeo. His hair is grown and donated to Locks of Love, a foundation that makes sure patients get wigs after losing their hair to chemotherapy.John is never too busy to stop and listen, no matter where he is. He walks to and from his office so he can keep in touch with the people. He’s not afraid of being seen.John has never let anyone influence any decisions he makes. He does make what he thinks is in the best interest of Garfield County. John Martin should be retained as your Garfield County Commissioner.Sincerely,P.L. AdamsGlenwood Springs
