Mary Ann Casteel

Mary Ann Casteel of Carbondale died Wednesday, July 9, 2003, at Valley View Hospital in Glenwood Springs. She was 58.

She was born May 13, 1945, in Hollywood, Calif., to Francis Dunn and James Treme.

She married Joseph Philip Casteel on Oct. 18, 1971, in Glenwood Springs.



Mrs. Casteel worked as a clerk and cashier for 20 years at City Market in Glenwood Springs. She was retired at the time of her death.

Mrs. Casteel is survived by her husband, Joseph Philip Casteel of Carbondale; by son and daughter-in-law Chris J. and Pam Casteel of Orlando, Fla.; by daughters and son-in-law Suzanne M. and Colin Bowerman of Olathe, Michelle A. Casteel of Parachute, and Nichole R. Casteel of Anchorage, Alaska; by brothers John Treme, Bill Treme and Joe Treme; and by sisters Francis Ellis, Marge Comstock, Ginger Morton, Carol Porter and Geri Spriggs.



A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 15, at St. Mary’s of the Crown Catholic Church on White Hill in Carbondale, with the Rev. Bob Hehn officiating.
