Mary Lena Bell

Mary Lena Bell of Eagle died Wednesday, May 21, 2003, at Glen Valley Care Center in Glenwood Springs. She was 89.

She was born Oct. 29, 1913, in Leadville to Louis Boni and Viola Covi.

She married Clarence Anderson Bell Feb. 12, 1941, in Leadville. He preceded her in death.



Mrs. Bell was a lifetime homemaker. She was a member of the Rebecca Lodge, the American Legion Auxiliary and St. Mary’s Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband and by brother Jim Boni.



Mrs. Bell is survived by son and daughter-in-law Clarence and Vicky Bell of Eagle; and by grandchildren Angelena and Christina.

A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 28, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Eagle. Burial will be at 12:30 p.m. the same day at Rosebud Cemetery in Glenwood Springs.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society.

Farnum Holt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
