Mary Waggoner, 94, of Carbondale, passed away Dec. 3, 2007. She was born Nov. 25, 1913, in Gardner, Colo., to Robert and Nellie (Caldwell) Addington.A lifelong Colorado resident, she loved the Roaring Fork Valley and called this her home for over 40 years. Mary’s great-grandchildren are sixth generation native Coloradans, a legacy those individuals are privileged to carry. A celebration of Mary’s life and open house will be held at a later date in Carbondale.A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10, at Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6601 South Colorado Blvd. in Littleton. Interment will be placed next to the love of her life, Ben Waggoner, at Olinger Chapel Hill Cemetery.The family asks that donations be made to the charity of your choice.
