Why did you decide to run for council? To give back to my community. I lived here and appreciated the community, and this is my way of giving back. And besides, I was asked to.

Why did you decide to run for council? I saw the importance of the decisions they make, and I wanted to be part of that process.

Why did you decide to run for council? I was a political science major in college ” it’s always something I’ve been interested in. It’s also a way for me to serve, and as a high school government teacher, it’s the best education I can get.

Why did you decide to run for council? I want to be part of the problem-solving for things such as growth problems. It’s been wonderful.

Why did you decide to run for council? Initially, I was recruited to run. There were positions open, no one was stepping up and they were trying to get people interested. They were going out and literally trying to get people to run. One of those leaps of faith you take, not knowing what’s at the bottom.

Why did you decide to run for council? I’ve always been interested in public service. If something needs to be done, instead of complaining, get in and do something about it.
