Lux Wellness Center was created and exists today to make a positive contribution in the lives of individuals and families by providing an exceptional integrative care experience in an inspirational environment. Our name comes from the Latin word lux (light), the derived unit of luminance or illumination.

People who come into Lux Wellness Center for chiropractic care with Dr. Lauren realize an increase in connection, ease, and energy and hope because they are assisted to experience a healthier structure-function relationship in their bodies; in turn they are providing their body an opportunity to heal. The office can address the underlying problem in your spine that is most likely causing your pain or symptoms. By addressing the root cause, the body can shed un-needed tension patterns and reveal a greater adaptability and vitality.

You get to see, objectively, your current state of health and function via a complete health history, exam (including neuro, physical and postural analysis).

When you team up with naturopathic doctor Jade Wimberley you are given dedicated and quality time. No more 10-minute consultations and waiting for hours to see the doctor. She commits to you her full energy and focus, the best of integrative medicine, and most importantly a realistic path to optimal health. The focus is on total wellness and not just treating and masking symptoms. Together, you and Dr. Jade, will identify your health goals, diligently and gracefully move towards them while building a trusting relationship, and implement a treatment plan that makes common sense.

The office also offers a weekly Vitamin B12 walk in clinic every Wednesday from 3-6 p.m., no appointments necessary so feel free to stop by.

What strategy do you use to hire good people?

We want to staff our office with powerful, knowledgeable, bilingual office managers and assistants who generously provide top-notch service. This is accomplished by being authentic, passionate and a clear communicator.

What is your strategy for growth in the next year?

Growth happens from satisfied and inspired customers who refer their friends and family to Lux Wellness Center. Our strategy is to continue to provide a quality service that people can benefit from. Ways to create community in the office include complimentary fresh local herbal tea with a comfortable seating area to promote community conversation, health inquiries and discovery through conversations about various products and lifestyle choices. We will also feature weekly health talks with Dr. Lauren and Dr. Jade as well as guest speakers.

What is the best thing about running a business here?

We feel our values regarding lifestyle, health and purpose are shared in this town. We were looking for a small town feel but with a “moving and shaking” mentality aware of the world and our place in it. Both Jade and Lauren value a conscious-minded town with strong community values, active lifestyles and appreciation for nature, which this town has. Both Lauren and Jade love it here.
