What’s the best dish you make? “I made really good mashed potatoes this Thanksgiving. They had cheese in them.”
What’s the best part of your day? “Just hanging out with my friends.”
What’s your favorite place you’ve ever visited? “The Sistine Chapel. I went there with the school two years ago.”
Lives in: El Portal, Calif. (but just moved a few months ago. He went to high school in Carbondale, where he visited family for Thanksgiving)

What are you known for? “I don’t know ” climbing, skiing.”
What’s the best part of your day? “Maybe when I get off work.”
What’s your favorite place you’ve ever visited? “Right now, it’s probably Yosemite. I’ve been there a few months. It’s cheap to live there, and I get to rock climb three days a week.”
Lives in: Carbondale (originally from Orleans, Mass.)
Occupation: Producer and director with his own film company, American Spirit Productions. It recently released the documentary “The Last of the Cowboys of the Roaring Fork Valley and Beyond.” In his words, he’s also a “green advocate for the new energy economy.”
What are you known for? “I’m known for AREDAY (an annual, multi-day energy conference in Aspen, featuring several singers and speakers).”
What’s the best part of your day? “The best part of my day is when I go ride my horse. I find great connections through the horse, through the way of the horse, with the pulse of the Earth.”
What’s your favorite place you’ve ever visited? “I don’t know if I have a favorite place that I’ve visited. I mean, I live there ” the Roaring Fork Valley.”
Lives: Part time in Paonia and part time in Carbondale (originally from all over but moved to Colorado after college in New Hampshire)
Occupation: DJ at KVNF in Paonia, painter, mother of two teenage girls, manager at Miser’s Mercantile in Carbondale ” and single
What are you known for? “My vivacious personality and my unusual dancing.”
What’s the best part of your day? “Getting dressed. I have this huge closet, and I love to vibe a costume in the morning.”
What’s your favorite place you’ve ever visited? “I just went on an around-the-world trip, so maybe that, with my daughters. I loved Paris. I loved Paris. And I liked Thailand and Istanbul. Hong Kong was awesome.”
