Megan Jean Beauford
Megan Jean Beauford died June 7, 2006, as a result of an automobile accident.She was born March 19, 1990, in Lancaster, Calif., the first child born to Tracy and Richard Beauford.The Beauford family moved to Rifle in January 1996, where Megan later began kindergarten. She jumped into dance and gymnastics, which fueled her love for sports.Megan had many loves in life. She was active and participated in cheerleading, motorcycle riding, and all types of sports. She had a great love for the outdoors and animals. She was known for coming home with a new dog or animal she felt needed a home. She raised funds for those that weren’t as fortunate as herself. She had a love for life, and living in general.The one thing that will be remembered about Megan was how she made you feel when you were in her presence. She always brought happiness into people’s lives, and did it with a smile. She could not rest until she got a smile out of you … and you would never see anything but that from her.It may have only been a short time, but the family is so lucky for the time they had and will remember it forever, and smile. Megan will always be her family’s world.She is survived by her parents; brother Cody; grandparents Bonnie and George Paul and Eric and Carolyn Wallace.The funeral was held Saturday, June 10, at the Rifle High School auditorium.In lieu of flowers and to help the family, please send donations to any Alpine Bank in Megan Jean Beauford’s name. Rifle Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
