Proud parents Bryan Daniels and Maria Ortiz announce the baptism of their daughter Kylie Marie Daniels. She was born on Dec. 25, 2008. Kylie will be baptized on Sunday, June 28, at 10 a.m. at the Carbondale Community United Methodist Church. A reception will follow at Granny and Pappy Ortiz’s in Carbondale.
Air Force Reserve Airman 1st Class Erin K. Yeazel graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio.The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.She is the daughter of Bill and Linda Yeazel of Birch Court, Rifle, and sister of Sara Yeazel of Lanka Lane, Colorado Springs.Yeazel graduated in 1994 from Rifle High School, and received an associate degree in 2008 from Pikes Peak Community College in Colorado Springs.
Breanna Richardson is the 2009-10 Garfield County Fair & Rodeo queen. She is an 18-year-old graduate from Glenwood Springs High School. In the fall she is attending Central Wyoming College to study equine science and elementary education. Some of her other hobbies are playing basketball and soccer as well as being in the 4-H program for 14 years.The 2009-10 queen’s attendant is Kelsea Secrease, who is 18 years old and a graduate of Rifle High School. Kelsea is attending Intellitec College in Grand Junction in the fall. She enjoys rodeo, hunting, judging and public speaking. She participated in 4-H for four years until she joined Future Farmers of America and served as president and district sentinel.The Fair & Rodeo princess is Tianna Davis, a 10-year-old fifth-grader at St. Stephen’s Catholic School in Glenwood Springs. Tianna uses her horse “Bambi” for fun and showing. This is her third year in 4-H, and she also enjoys riding mules in various competitions. In her spare time Tianna plays the piano, and does ballet and tap dancing.All three girls are excited on their adventure of the upcoming year and hope to meet a lot of Garfield County residents and rodeo fans.
David Denton of Murray, Ky., Cheryl Denton of Snowmass Village, Joseph and Victoria Cristilli of Coronado, Calif., and their respective families are proud to announce the engagement of Nichole Renee Denton and Jason Winter Cristilli.The proposal took place on a romantic Venetian gondola ride in Coronado, Calif.They are both 2008 graduates of Thomas Jefferson School of Law, both receiving Juris Doctorates.They plan to be married at sea near Newport Beach, Calif., and will continue to reside in San Diego.
