Allen (Butch) and Nita Bottorff were married in Aspen Co. on July 3, 1960. Butch is a Colorado native. Nita was born in Texas and moved to Peyton Co. when she was 12. The couple met after High School in New Castle. After their marriage, they lived in Glenwood Springs for 2 years and then moved to New Castle where they are still going strong. They have two daughters, Julie Reid and Janet Webster. Five grandchildren, Christopher Reid, Matthew Webster, Jared Reid, Natalie Reid, and David Webster. And one great-grandchild, Caden Reid. The couple will be traveling on their anniversary. A party is planned for family and close friends on July 24.
