Pack 225 would like to thank all those who helped support our annual car wash. We are grateful for our many friends who bought tickets and the volunteers who helped make this happen. In particular, we would like to thank the Pit Stop for its continuing support of Scouting – this year marks the 20th year the staff have made their facilities available to us and helped in every way possible.

Happy 75th birthday to Jack Mathias of Carbondale. Please stop by The Village Smithy to say hello and have a cup of coffee with us at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 10. Jack is retired from Roaring Fork High School after working there in the 1980s and ’90s.

Pvt. Forrest Nott, C-3-13, 4th Platoon, son of Krista Paradise and Peter Nott, graduated from Army Basic Training Aug. 4. He is continuing his training at Ft. Lee, Va.
