Kyrie Hattel and Stephen Piker announce their engagement to be married. Kyrie is the daughter of Dave and Shelly Hattel of Aurora. She attended Cherokee Trail High School and works at the Blue Bird Cafe. Stephen is the son of Eddie and Denise Piker of Silt. He attended the Garden School and works at Rising Hearts Ranch.

Jessie Rhodes of Maui and Jacob Ziemann of Glenwood Springs were married Sept. 29, 2012, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in San Francisco with Father Martin Fitzgerald, (Lt. Col.) 20th FW Chaplain, Shaw AFB, S.C., presiding.Jessie’s parents are Dr. Clifford and Karen Rhodes. She is a 2008 graduate of the University of San Francisco with a degree in Communication Studies and a minor in Public Relations and works in advertising.Jacob’s parents are Jill and Tom Ziemann. He graduated from Pomona College in 2008 with a degree in Philosophy, Politics & Economics and works for Glynn Capital Management.Maid of honor was Lacie Rhodes, sister of the bride, of San Francisco. Bridesmaids were Charlene Deming, of Cambridge, Mass.; Bonnie Burgart, of San Francisco; and Hayley Andrews, cousin of the bride, of Brooklyn, N.Y.Best man was Sayre Craig, of Palo Alto, Calif. Groomsmen were Russell Sims, of San Francisco; Alex Cohen, of Los Angeles; and Ben Ziemann, brother of the groom, of Durango.The flower girl was Natalie Dion of San Francisco.After honeymooning at Las Ventanas al Paraiso in Los Cabos, Mexico, the newlyweds are at home in San Francisco.
