Mesa women roll into RMAC Shootout semis

GRAND JUNCTION, Colorado – Kelsey Sigl scored a game-high 14 points and Glenwood Springs product Katrina Selsor added 10, leading Colorado Mesa University’s women’s basketball team to a 74-50 win over Regis in the first round of the RMAC Shootout on Tuesday.

Sharaya Selsor, another Glenwood Springs product and Katrina’s sister, added nine points for the fourth-ranked Mavericks (26-1), who limited Regis (10-17) to 13 first-half points and 30.8 percent shooting (16 for 52) for the game.

Mesa, the No. 4-ranked team in Division II, will host Fort Lewis on Friday night in the RMAC Shootout semifinals.
