Michael Robert Dunning
Michael Robert Dunning of New Castle died Wednesday, April 28, 2004. He was 56.
A celebration of a new life will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 22, at the old New Castle Schoolhouse, 151 W. Main St. in New Castle, with Rosie Ferrin officiating.
Mr. Dunning was born March 29, 1948, in Cleveland to Murial J. Ochs and Richard Dunning. He attended college in Jackson, Mich.
He served in the U.S. Navy.
He was previously married to Kathy Kenton and later to Jan Dunning Turley.
Mr. Dunning was retired, and lived in Carbondale before moving to New Castle.
He enjoyed bowling, gardening and sports.
Mr. Dunning is survived by sons Mathew Dunning and Joseph Dunning, both of Sutterton, Pa., and Richard Dunning of New Castle, and their families; by a sister, Judy Hino and her family; by grandchildren Tawny and Payton Dunning; and by special friends Dennis Fucilli, Harry Walters and family, Rosie and Cleyo Ferrin, and Robyn Spraker.
