MidFirst should buy local

Dear Editor,

The great irony of MidFirst Bank and its campaign group, Glenwood Springs Neighbors for Responsible Planning, is that the vast majority of its expenditures were not with local merchants.

It would seem to indicate that their short- and long-term commitment to “Glenwood Springs Neighbors” is simply a poorly disguised sales pitch. If they really want to gather community support for a project they should support and become part of the community.
