Millard D. "Buzz" Graham
Millard “Buzz” Graham passed away Nov. 13, 2005, at Family Health West, in Fruita. He was 79 years old.He was born Oct. 29, 1926, in Rifle, to Millard Elmer and Hazel (Taylor) Graham. Buzz spent his childhood in Rifle and graduated from Rifle Union High School. He attended Denver College.He served in the U.S. Army.He married Genevieve Grace Gelyean in July 1951.Buzz was a wildlife conservation officer and lived in Rangely. Buzz was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Rangely. His hobbies were hiking, fishing and bird watching.Survivors include sons Millard A. (Alma) Graham, of Crawford, and Brent E. (Susie) Graham, of Phoenix; daughter Teresa (Luther) Forney, of Rangely; step-daughter Diana (Ronnie) Stuller, of Saint Francis, Kan.; brothers Clayton Graham, of Meeker, and Kenneth Graham, of Cedaredge; sisters May Bainbrick, of Vernal, Utah, and Velma Hopper, of Placerville, Calif.; and 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. today at the Rifle Funeral Home.There will be a church service at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Rifle, with Bishop Curtis Ercanbrack officiating.Interment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Rifle.Rifle Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
