CONEJOS, Colo. (AP) ” Six snowmobilers missing in the snow-covered mountains of southern Colorado contacted authorities by cell phone on Monday and reported they were all alive, the Conejos County Sheriff’s Department said.

The snowmobilers called 911 from an isolated and snowbound train station and said they were cold and hungry but otherwise all right, sheriff’s spokeswoman Barbara Smith said.

She said crews were on their way to meet the six, who are all from New Mexico.
