Dear Editor,

Monday, March 31, was a special day for those of us in this valley who have sons, daughters, fathers, brothers, sisters or mothers in the war in the Middle East.

We came together and talked and hugged and cried and prayed for our loved ones who are fighting the war on terrorism and evil dictators. It was not a political event like the anti-American demonstrations we see so much of, but a gathering of people who love our country and support our troops. God bless all of those who attended and God bless our troops.

Thanks for listening.
