Dear Editor,

Hey, how about a constitutional amendment banning marriage between two people who kick their dogs? I strongly disapprove of such behavior.

And, while we’re at it, here’s another idea that our power-abusing president might endorse: a constitutional amendment banning marriage between two people who talk really loud in restaurants. They irritate me too.

Dear Editor,

Bruce Monroe was right. The new grading system should be called Fred Wall’s March to Mediocrity.

You and I support this school system with tax money taken from us. Maybe what this district needs is some new leadership.

In the meantime we should expect new bumper stickers in town that say “I am proud of my proficient student at Glenwood Springs High School.”
