The families of Laurent and Josephine Arlian, who immigrated to the United States from Aosta, Italy, in 1914, gathered for a family reunion on July 4 at the home of Alvin Arlian in Foxfield, a suburb of Denver. Attending the reunion were families from Alaska, Washington, Ohio, Wisconsin, Texas, Virginia, Massachusetts, Montana and Colorado, and cousin Brice Arlian from Aosta, Italy. All 80 attending enjoyed the barbecue, visiting, reminiscing, playing games and more eating. It was the first family reunion in 95 years and Briece Arlian was celebrating his 95th birthday.

Erikka Saueressig would like everyone to meet her brand new sister, Ashley Jade Saueressig. Ashley was born at 9:20 p.m. on July 10 and weighed in at 7 pounds, 5 ounces. Her parents are Eddy and Shayla Saueressig of Silt. Proud grandparents are Ed and Linda Saueressig of Silt and Don and Nadine Williams of Glenwood Springs.
