Nadene Koch, 69, of Rifle died Sept. 5, 2004, in Glenwood Springs.There will be a memorial service at 4:40 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, at the Rifle East Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses on Seventh Street in Rifle. Arthur Johnson will officiate.She was a Rifle resident since 1999 and a housewife.She was born April 5, 1935, in Jennings, Okla., the daughter of Jarrett and Iris (Smith) Williams. She spent her childhood in Oklahoma.She married Fred Koch in Wichita, Kan. He survives.She was a member of the Rifle East Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.Her greatest passion was teaching the Bible. She was a complete people person. Her pride and joy was her family, and she was loved by all who knew her.In addition to her husband, of Rifle, survivors include her father, of Dolores; a son, John Koch and his wife, Tani, of Rifle; daughters Rebecca Coates and her husband, Ron, of Victorville, Calif., and Lori Gish and her husband, Terry, of Glenwood Springs; brother Leroy Williams and his wife, Susan, of Colorado Springs; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.The Rifle Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
