Nancy Gail Nelson
Nancy Gail Nelson, of Louisville, Colo., died on Sept. 2, 2002 at her home.
She was born in the National Naval Medical Center of Bethesda, Md., on Aug. 28, 1952, to Bud and Ellen (Wilson) Brackett.
She married Roy G. Nelson on Dec. 23, 1973.
Mrs. Nelson attended Campion Academy in Loveland, Colo., and Union College in Lincoln, Neb. She worked many years with her husband in his pediatric office.
She loved music and enjoyed singing with the “Adoration Singers” of Longmont, Colo. She was very active in her church and loved working with the youth.
She was survived for 11 days by sister Sara Lou Ann Bassham, of Pierce, Colo. (See following obituary.)
She is survived by husband Roy Nelson, of Louisville; daughters Lisa and Julie; son Kevin; father and stepmother Bud and Joan Brackett, of California; mother and stepfather Ellen and Fletcher Bleak, of Rifle, Colo.; brother Larry Brackett, of Nikiski, Alaska; and grandmother Beth Brackett, of Clifton, Colo.
Memorial services to celebrate her life were held at the Boulder Seventh-day Adventist Church. Burial took place at Mountain View Park on Sept. 7, 2002.
