New bank features community room
Staff ReportThe new WestStar Bank features a community room that can hold 35 people and is available to nonprofit groups.The bank opened its new location at 1901 Grand Ave. last month.The community room has a kitchenette, bathroom facilities and separate entrance for after-hours and weekend access.The main lobby doesn’t have any teller lines or stations. Personal banking is done at the Financial Services Representatives’ desk.Behind the building are two drive-through lanes and a 24-hour ATM inside the vestibule.The new building is named the Rose Building in honor of the previous owners, the J.V.
