Nina Virginia Brannon Nolan

Nina Virginia Brannon Nolan of Glenwood Springs died Saturday, Aug. 23, 2003, at Glen Valley Care Center. She was 93.

Mrs. Nolan was born to Nathan and Nancy (Elvington) Brannon in Pornum, Okla., on Feb. 5, 1910. She married Kenneth (Dude) Nolan, on Jan. 3, 1929, in Tulsa. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Nolan lived in Glenwood Springs for 74 years and was active in the Gypsum United Methodist Church, Rebekah Lodge, and United Methodist Women.

She is survived by her son, Roy (Pete) Nolan; daughter-in-law, Shirley; grandson, Cory; brother and sister-in-law, Harvey and Berniece Brannon of Stilwell, Okla.; and sister-in-law Buena Metzler, of Cheyenne, Wyo.



There will be a memorial service at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 28, at Gypsum Methodist Church in Gypsum. Pastor Jeff Hanson will officiate. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation is at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Farnum-Holt Funeral Home in Glenwood.
