Alan (Buck) Harris Jr. (Jan. 8, 1979 — Feb. 14, 2017)
Our beloved Buck, Alan James Harris Jr., has left us too soon on February 14, 2017.
He is now at peace. He is survived by his mother, Leonette Miller; stepfather, Mitch Miller; father, Alan James Harris; favorite uncle, McLaren Taylor; siblings: Jonathan and Joshua Harris, Michelle Lee and Michael Miller; his loving partner, Torrie Moorman; and countless other relatives. Bucky lived fearlessly. He gifted us all with his fierce loyalty and heart; whose love was bountiful and endless. He was passionate about living life fully. He conquered land and water alike. His beaming smile and youthful charisma, always infectious, captured the hearts of us all. With a twinkle of his piercing blue eyes, you always knew he was doing what he loved. With honor and grace, we celebrate his life, his kindred spirit, and how he touched each of our lives.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2017, 10:00AM at Christ Community Church in Basalt, Colorado. Family and friends are asked to join us afterward at 11:00AM at the Fairway Cemetery in Basalt, Colorado.
We are asking that donations be made to a memorial fund found online at: http://www.gofundme.com/buck-harris-memorial-fund.
