Albert ‘Skip’ Carsten

Skip resided for 28 years in the Glenwood Springs area (Cattle Creek) and 13 years in Grand Junction. Skip had an outstanding understanding of mathematics and electrical systems. He designed electrical products used worldwide. It is fitting Skip passed on Pi-Day (3-14); Pi is a mathematical constant, a number that goes on forever.

Skip spent his life giving to everyone, and he loved laughter and learning every day. He believed everything was possible, and he demonstrated his love and genuine nature through his selfless actions and personal integrity.

Skip is survived by his wife, Dorette, and children: Ron (Toni), Rick (Sandi), and Janelle (Joe Barrows). He was preceded in death by his son, Robert. His ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren were all his pride and joy.

A memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, March 21 at the Church of the Nativity, 2175 Broadway, Grand Junction, CO.
